When it belongs on your shortlist

This model makes most sense as a capacity-and-handling comparison. A smaller cutter range can be entirely adequate if the drawing calls for repeated smaller holes. It is less attractive if your next confirmed job already requires larger diameters. Compare the full tool package, available clearance and service access instead of using wattage as a shortcut for productivity.

If most of your work uses smaller annular holes, maximum capacity should not dominate every comparison. Consider how often the drill must be moved and whether its controls will be accessible at the intended location.
